THERE HAVE BEEN MANY CHANGES IN THE OIL BUSINESS IN THE PAST 65 YEARS, BUT OUR GOOD OLD FASHIONED CUSTOMER SERVICE REMAINS THE SAME!!!

1946

Trono Oil and Gas Co. Inc. was established by John Trono.  Serving Chittenden County with fuel oil, kerosene, and diesel fuel.  For many years John Trono and his wife Bertha operated the business as it's only two employees.

1982

John's son Peter begins running the company.  Over the course of next several years the business slowly expands with the acquisition of other local oil companies.

2004

The company becomes Trono Fuels and expands into central Vermont serving customers in Washington and Orange Counties.

2009

Peter's son Lucas becomes part of the Trono Fuels team managing the Burlington office.  With the addition of Lucas into the fold, he becomes the 3rd generation manager of Chittenden County's longest running fuel business.
